Deeksha Rai (She/Her)

Deeksha Rai holds a B.L.S LL.B degree from Mumbai University and has done LL.M from Jain University, Bengaluru.

She has practiced in the High Court of Karnataka, Bombay High Court, Bengaluru City Civil and Sessions Court, Family Court, and District Consumer Dispute Redressal Forum, Mumbai Suburban.
She is currently working as a Legal Associate with Equilibrio Advisory. She is an experienced professional responsible for the litigation vertical at our firm. With a strong in-depth understanding of the POSH Act, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team.

Deeksha is actively handling the drafting and filing of plaints, writs, appeals, suits, and special leave petitions. She is instrumental in vetting and reviewing policy and service rules of organizations/ industrial establishments and identifying gaps and proposing amendments to ensure compliance with the POSH Act to foster a safe and inclusive environment.

Deeksha has contributed significantly to the development of policies related to mental health, including comprehensive Mental Health toolkit consisting of guidelines and resources for employees to address mental health issues at the workplace. She has also played a pivotal role in vetting HR recruitment policies, ensuring diverse recruitment across the LGBTQIA+ spectrum, and implementing effective recruitment assessment policies for persons with disabilities.

She contributes to the firm’s website by writing informative articles and case summaries and sharing valuable insights with clients and the wider legal community.
