
Bhumika Jain (She/Her)
Bhumika Jain is an Advocate holding a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from K.C. Law College, University of Mumbai. She also holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy (MPP) from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai and a Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com) degree from H.R. College of Commerce and Economics, University of Mumbai. Additionally, she has done a Post-Graduate Certificate Course in Human Rights from the Government Law College, Mumbai, and a Certificate Course in Anti-Human Trafficking from the Indira Gandhi National Open University. Currently, she is also pursuing her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Business Law from K.C. Law College, University of Mumbai
Bhumika has been working in the field of laws relating to women and children for more than five years. In the past, she has worked with human rights activists, non-governmental organizations, educational institutions like the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and law firms. She has provided legal assistance to women and child victims of sexual abuse and human trafficking and has worked towards advocating for their rights.
Currently, she is working as a Senior Associate, External Member and Trainer (POSHEquili, Child safety at Work). Her responsibilities include-
- Acting as External Member and assisting IC in conducting inquiry into POSH complaints.
- Conducting various subject matter trainings for clients across sectors under the POSHequili and CSAW verticals and curation of content.
- Spearheading the monthly meetings of the POSHEquili vertical.
Bhumika enjoys working on application and analysis of laws. She is always looking forward to taking up new and challenging opportunities.
