Explore ways to build your knowledge and capacity with our team of in-house experts!

That’s a wrap on our live roundtable — and what a session it was! From redefining the “workplace” to unpacking grey areas in non-traditional setups, today’s dialogue felt like the perfect way to celebrate 12 years of the POSH Act.

A huge thank you to our speakers and everyone who tuned in. The work doesn’t end here — let’s keep pushing for safer, more equitable work environments for all.
This Grief Awareness Week, let’s remember to hold space for our grief. It doesn’t move in straight lines — it shifts, returns, softens, and sharpens around holidays and significant dates. If you’re carrying loss, take what you need, slow down where you can, and reach out for support when you need it.
On Human Rights Day, we reaffirm that everyone deserves safety, dignity, and equality. Gender-based violence continues to harm women, queer, and trans communities. Honouring human rights means dismantling discriminatory systems and standing in solidarity to build safer, more inclusive and just communities for all.
At Equilibrio Advisory, we celebrated Pansexual Pride Day. This day celebrates pansexuality—a sexual orientation characterized by attraction to people regardless of their gender. It honors pan individuals, raises awareness, promotes acceptance, and affirms the diversity and fluidity of human attraction and identity.

I - LEGAL UPDATES

The Supreme Court has clarified that an Internal Committee at the workplace of the aggrieved woman has the authority to inquire into a sexual harassment complaint even when the respondent is employed in a different department of the government. The Court held that the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace(Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal ) Act , 2013 does not require both parties to belong to the same department, and that the respondent’s employer remains bound to act on the IC’s recommendations, strengthening access to effective redressal.
The Supreme Court has flagged serious gaps in the implementation of Support Person and Para Legal Volunteer schemes under the POCSO Act and directed States and Union Territories to reassess requirements, improve empanelment through Legal Services Authorities, and ensure effective support to child victims at police stations and during proceedings.
The Supreme Court of India has clarified that its directive to ensure women’s representation in Bar Associations in Gujarat applies to all such bodies across the state, regardless of their name or classification. This landmark step reinforces the Court’s earlier order to reserve key leadership positions, including 30% of executive committee seats and the treasurer post, for women advocates, marking a significant move towards gender inclusivity and equal participation in the legal profession.

II - Exploring Intersections

His call for men’s responsibility and community healing shows how solidarity can spark real change.

Curious Cat:
What is Type 1 diabetes, and what kind of support is required to manage it?

Answer:
Type 1 diabetes is a chronic illness in which the pancreas produces little or no insulin, a hormone essential for regulating blood sugar levels. Type 1 diabetes is not restricted to older populations, and can occur in younger persons, notwithstanding their choice of diet or lifestyle.

People with Type 1 diabetes must carefully manage their condition every day through insulin injections or an insulin pump, frequent blood sugar monitoring, a balanced diet, and lifestyle adjustments to avoid serious health complications. Beyond medical care, individuals with Type 1 diabetes also need inclusive workspaces—with inclusive leave policies and flexible work timings—and supportive communities that understand their condition, accommodate their needs, and enable them to function and thrive both personally and professionally.
Here’s all the tools you need to build safe and equitable workspaces! Drop us a Hey, to get started!
