Curious Cat: Who is required to report under the POCSO Act, when must they report, and to whom should the report be made?
Answer: Under the POCSO Act, any person aware of a sexual offence against a child must report it immediately. Reporting must be done to the local police or Special Juvenile Police Unit. Delay or failure to report can result in legal consequence such as imprisonment and fine. “
