Indian Constitution granted women the right to vote right from its inception as a
Democratic Republic in 1950. Unlike some Western democracies, where
women gained voting rights gradually, India’s constitution ensured universal
adult suffrage without any gender-based restrictions. All Indian women had a
constitutional right to vote in the first General Election of 1951.

What is Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD)?
PMDD is a severe form of premenstrual syndrome (PMS)
characterized by intense mood shifts, irritability, anxiety, and depression in the
luteal phase of the menstrual cycle. The symptoms significantly disrupt daily
functioning, impacting work, relationships, and overall quality of life.
