ruled that imposing dual penalties in
disciplinary proceedings for the
same charge violates the principle of
double jeopardy.

The Madras High Court ruled that
merely watching child pornography
in private is not an offense under
the POCSO Act, IT Act, or IPC. The
petitioner, facing charges for
downloading such content, had it
within his private domain.

Indian Constitution granted women the right to vote right from its inception as a
Democratic Republic in 1950. Unlike some Western democracies, where
women gained voting rights gradually, India’s constitution ensured universal
adult suffrage without any gender-based restrictions. All Indian women had a
constitutional right to vote in the first General Election of 1951.

What is Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD)?
