Adv. Saumya Singh (She/Her)

Saumya Singh is an Advocate and Junior Associate with the Legal and Compliance vertical at Equilibrio Advisory LLP. A graduate of Chanakya National Law University, and enrolled with the Bar Council of Uttar Pradesh, she brings over eight years of experience across litigation, legal drafting, research, compliance, legal education and evaluation of legal work.

Before joining Equilibrio, Saumya was a Senior Associate at LawSikho, where she evaluated and reviewed legal drafts across areas such as POSH compliance, constitutional law, writs, SLPs, consumer protection and corporate documentation. This meant going through the drafts line-be-line, often on sensitive facts patterns – with an eye for accuracy, neutrality and soundness.

Earlier in her career, she practised before the Allahabad High Court, working on service and employment law, criminal law, company law matters, drafting writ petitions, affidavits, applications and legal notices. She also has experience in legal education, having taught Legal Studies to senior secondary students.

Saumya’s professional journey has given her extensive experience in working on sensitive matters that require objectivity and confidentiality. Her exposure combined with her experience in compliance analysis, drafting and evaluation has strengthened her interest in workplace safety and institutional accountability.

At Equilibria, Saumya aims to contribute her legal experience and analytical approach towards helping and supporting the creation of workplaces that are safe, equitable, respectful and inclusive.
